Psychotherapy in Cardiff

Life can feel overwhelming at times. If you're struggling or would like to understand yourself better, therapy can offer a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially if you've felt misunderstood and like you didn't quite fit into other spaces meant to support you.

My practice centres around creating a space where you are welcome to show up exactly as you are. You don't need to explain or justify yourself, find the 'right' words, or fit into any mould.

Therapy with me is collaborative and flexible, not something you have to perform or get right. Together, we'll find a way of working that honours your pace, your communication style, and your unique way of being in the world.

My background

I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of South Wales and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a BACP member, I adhere to their ethical framework and am committed to continuous professional development. I regularly attend training and stay up to date with the latest research in psychotherapy and mental health.

I have completed specialist training in autism support, provided by the National Autistic Society, including a focus on autism in women and girls. My training equips me to provide autism-aware therapy.

Therapy with me

I offer integrative psychotherapy, meaning I draw from different approaches to adapt our work to you: your pace, your needs, and your way of being.

I work holistically, so we'll consider your emotional, physical, and relational experiences. Therapy is a space to gently make sense of things, connect more deeply with yourself, and move toward the kind of life and relationships that feel possible for you.

While I work with a wide range of concerns - including anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, and identity - I have particular interest and experience in:

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy: I work with autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent adults in ways that support self-understanding, unmasking, and working with (not against) your brain. This space is for you, not for making you more 'acceptable' to others.

I have received training and have experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including  late-diagnosed individuals who may want help processing their diagnosis or adjusting to life through a new lens.

Therapy that centres communication difference: Whether you find talking or social interaction hard, or struggle to feel fully yourself in therapy, we can adapt how we work together, including working creatively.

I also offer therapy via email or instant messaging. These formats can be especially helpful for people who find verbal communication challenging, need more time to process their thoughts, or prefer to express themselves through writing.
