Psychotherapy in Cardiff: about me
I‘m a qualified psychotherapist based in Cardiff, passionate about helping people connect more deeply with themselves, others, and the world around them in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable. I know reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially if you've felt misunderstood or overlooked in the past. My goal is to offer a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to explore whatever's on your mind.
How I work
I offer integrative psychotherapy, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to you. There's no one-size-fits-all in therapy, and together we'll find what feels right for your needs, goals, and pace.
What works for one person may not work for another, so together we’ll find what feels right for you. My approach is holistic, taking into account your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Through our work, I aim to help you develop self-awareness and create meaningful, lasting changes in your life.
Most of all, I'm warm, gentle, and compassionate. I aim to truly listen to you and understand your experiences, to help you better understand yourself.

What matters to me in therapy
I believe that therapy should feel clear, compassionate, and empowering - especially for people who've spent a lot of time feeling misunderstood. Communication is at the heart of everything I do. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lost, or just ready to understand yourself better, therapy can offer space to be seen, heard, and supported.
While I work with a wide range of concerns - including anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, and identity - I have particular interest and specialist training in:
-
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy: I work with autistic and otherwise neurodivergent adults, offering support that is respectful, validating, and adapted to your communication style and sensory needs. I understand how exhausting it can be to navigate spaces where you feel you have to mask or explain yourself constantly. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up just as you are.
-
My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, helping you embrace your neurodiversity and approach life in a way that works for you. I have received extensive training in supporting autistic individuals, including autistic women and girls, as well as those with ADHD, sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia, and other neurodivergences. I also have experience supporting late-diagnosed individuals who may need help processing their diagnosis or adjusting to life through a new lens.
-
Culturally sensitive therapy: I also specialise in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those who have faced communication barriers in healthcare. My work is informed by research into therapy with language interpreters, and I'm committed to helping therapy become more accessible to everyone - regardless of language, culture, or communication style.
While these are areas of specialty, I welcome working with individuals from all backgrounds and experiences. Whatever you’re dealing with, I’m here to support you in your journey.
My Background
I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of South Wales and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a BACP member, I adhere to their ethical framework and am committed to continuous professional development. I regularly attend training and stay up to date with the latest research in psychotherapy and mental health.
I have completed specialist training in autism support, provided by the National Autistic Society, including a focus on autism in women and girls. My training equips me to provide autism-aware therapy.
